-
- Ben’s home.
- We’re moving.
- For real.
- We’re in the process of buying this house.
-
- It was previously a convent.
- Sebastian’s in 1st grade.
- Xander’s taught himself to read CVC words.
- I’ve got 2.5 weeks to get my house ready for the movers.
- Ben’s got 2.5 weeks to get in shape (again) so he can meet army standards when he signs in at the new base.
- Or he doesn’t get to go to UAV school.
- And all of this was for nothing.
- I’m trying not to panic.
- Daily.
- I voted for McCain.
- I wanted to vote for Ron Paul.
- The economy sucks.
- I’m trying to avoid going into debt.
- I’m praising God that I felt it laid upon my heart to following the advice of Dave Ramsey.
- Last year.
- We’re still taking baby steps, but at least we’re not incurring any more debt than our new mortgage and all our other debt is paid off and we have a (meager) savings to rely upon for the expenses involved.
- That’s huge.
- I feel that we’re following God’s lead.
- And yet I feel so far away from Him.
- I’m trying to get back.
- It’s hard.
- I had checked out of my life when Ben came home, and checking back in hasn’t proved to be easy.
- This is part of that process.

Praying for you just now… you have a lot on your “plate,” for sure! Here is a little encouragement for you from Hebrews 13:5b-6 ~ ” . . . Since God assured us, ‘I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,’ we can boldly quote, ‘God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?’” Have a great weekend! ~ Carolyn
love the house…….I always wanted to live in an older home with a porch. Wishing you an uneventful move!
