The Big Adventure
Goals for this week:
- List one item on freecycle every day.
- Declutter the living room.
- Start shopping for winter clothes for the boys.
I’ve found a yahoo group for the area to which we’ll be moving and I’ve posted an introduction. I’m hoping to get to know a few people before we move so that I won’t feel all alone when I get there. I’ve also been looking at websites for churches in the area. I’ve found a couple that I plan to visit when we get there. Find a new church home will probably be the most important thing for me because it will make me feel less alone.
Sebastian seems excited about the idea of moving. He’s already planning what he’ll do in the snow. Xander doesn’t seem to understand it at all. He’s a trooper though, so I’m sure he’ll take it all in stride.
I missed Ben’s call Saturday. I was in a meeting at Sebastian’s martial arts school and didn’t hear the phone ring. We’re down to less than 30 days until he’s home!! I’m so excited (and stressed)! I know I’ll have peace when he’s finally home.
From my home to yours,
Andrea

Hi Andrea, Thanks again for your sweet comment on my site (June 17th)… it has been a busy last 3 weeks.
I love your website, and I am excited about getting to know you better. I “subbed & friended” you. How did you find me? We have quite a bit in common, although you are the age of my younger son who is in Kuwait right now. I miss him! He just called me a couple of days ago, & we enjoyed about an hour talk. He had gotten our care package that included two albums full of pictures (mainly of his daughter when we recently kept her for 10 days). Sounds like you have some exciting things coming up! I’ll pray that God leads you to just the right church home. If you don’t mind my asking ~ What state? Take care… {hugs} Carolyn
p.s. – I took some of your tests: I have a green mind, too… the house test I may just blog, it was the most accurate of all; and one of the tests that looked interesting - about the refirgerator - was Way off!
