GREAT start! http://www.flylady.com has some wonderful tips for “baby steps”, and includes an extended lesson on “cleaning the kitchen sink” and how important it is. Our stainless steel sink is old and scratched, too, but I followed her steps once, and it sure did shine nicely! Anyway, keep up the good work!
I know a dear lady just like you, who has a case of the messies, but, she won’t admit it to many, and therefore, isn’t as interested in fixing it either. You are doing a great thing in transparency…just remember to hang in there on the tough days. Take baby steps, and with each step, make it a discipline–whether cleaning the sink (as Flylady says) or whatever.
Hold your head high!! Blessings in your endeavors!! ~Tea
